SpendLah is built by Dethok Technologies Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the app. The short version: nothing leaves your device, because we never receive it.
The app has no account and no sign-up. We do not operate a server that stores your information. We do not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share any personal or financial data. There is nothing for us to collect — the app is designed so that your data stays on your phone.
When you import a bank or card statement, the file is read and processed entirely on your device. Your transactions, balances, categories, and any notes you add are stored locally on your phone, encrypted at rest, and unlocked only by your Face ID or PIN. None of it is uploaded to us or to any third party.
The app contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking technologies. We do not build a profile of you and we have no way to see how you use the app.
Because no data leaves your device, we do not share data with any third party. We do not use third-party services that would receive your information.
SpendLah offers an optional paid membership (SpendLah Pro) as an auto-renewing subscription. All purchases are processed by Apple, not by us. We never see, receive or store your card number, billing address or any other payment details — Apple handles the transaction and tells the app only whether your membership is currently active.
Your subscription status is stored on your device. It is not linked to a name, email address or account, because SpendLah has no accounts.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings — we cannot cancel or refund it for you. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms.
Nothing about your spending, transactions or statements is ever sent to us or to Apple as part of a purchase.
Once a day, the app asks Apple's App Store whether a newer version of SpendLah is available, so it can let you know. That request carries only the app's public identifier and the Singapore storefront — nothing about you, your device or your data — and the answer is used solely to show an "update available" notice inside the app. The request goes to Apple, not to us.
Your data lives on your device. You can delete any transaction or statement within the app, and deleting the app removes all data it stored on your device. Because we never hold your data, there is nothing for you to request from us and nothing for us to delete on our servers — there are no servers holding it.
The app is rated 4+ and does not collect data from anyone, including children.
The app is operated by a Singapore company and is designed so that no personal data, as defined under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012, is collected, stored, or transmitted by the developer.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected in the app.
